Snowy/South Coast Tour

This is a new tour that gives us the opportunity to explore some wonderful roads a bit further away from the city than we manage with other 3 day tours. This tour takes us to the Western edge of the Snowy Mountains, through the dense forests before climbing towards the high plains of the Snowy Mountains then down the costal escarpment to the far south coast of New South Wales and some of the most picturesque places on the coast. The final day tours the NSW south coast before taking in some our favourite roads close to Sydney.

Day 1. Monday October 29

We head out of Sydney via the Hume Highway and head towards the rural heartland west of the mountains. Lunch will be near Gundagai before the tour really gets going with some amazing back roads that will eventually into our hotel on the shores of Lake Jindabyne.

Day 2. Tuesday October 30

The day kicks off with a brilliant empty road through the high plains before arriving in Bombala. The country changes dramatically here, the plains make way for heavy forest as we head towards the escarpment that eventually drops to the coast. We take in the beautiful Bega Valley and some of the iconic sights of the Far South Coast

Day 3. Wednesday October 31

The South  Coast in all it’s glory is on the display today. Some great places to stop for a coffee or a pie at a local bakery before heading onto some spectacular roads after lunch.

Cost

The tour is $1,200/car (2 people max) and includes bed and breakfast each night as well as a comprehensive roadbook to keep you on track. I will be there to smooth the way and ensure that everything runs as it should.
